Elegance, simplicity, and class – all of which describes The Kimpton Gray Hotel perfectly. #AD
The Kimpton Gray Chicago is definitely one that fits my taste, the elegance, the class, the decor, all of it is something out of a dream and it’s truly such a pleasant stay while you’re there. From the time you check in the staff is so sweet, meeting special requests, helping celebrate special occasions, and making sure you are comfortable.
There’s 2 entrances to the hotel, one on W Monroe St. and the other on LaSalle, you can walk up the grand staircases to get to the lobby or just take an elevator up down the marble hallway. The hotel occupies everything you’d need during your stay, and the best part about using the fitness center if you’re one to never miss a workout- you don’t have to pack workout clothes. They provide Lululemon clothes to borrow or buy during your stay! They have a spa, fine dining, and views that you won’t get tired of seeing.
I checked into the King Suite and I did a room tour on my stories on Instagram which you can find under my "The Gray Chi" highlight on my profile – here. The room was cozy, the decor was sophisticated, simple, and beautiful.
The location of the hotel is the best part, it’s close to all the tourist hot-spots, the best restaurants and everything is walking distance.
Willis Tower (0.3 miles)
Union Station (0.5 miles)
Navy Pier (2.4 miles)
The Bean (0.5 miles)
The Gray also offers dining options such as Vol. 39, a upscale cocktail bar that I loved spending evenings listening to the live music at, watching the snow fall there. Boleo, a rooftop lounge that’s open year round (one of the 2 in Chi open year round), and Steadfast, which is a dining experience of it’s own with Chef’s Ender Oktayruen and Christopher Teixeira who collaborated to create an adventurous menu that’s worth trying out!
I absolutely loved my stay there, the hotel is stunning and this was my 2nd time staying here. I definitely recommend this hotel to anyone whose visiting Chicago!
